Are there any sites where you can write out guitar and/or bass tabs fairly easily and copy them onto a site like this? I thought it may be cool to post some tabs of songs I know on here and hopefully some of you would do the same. I don't know if this runs into any legal issues or not but seems like it might be something enjoyable to do when nothing else is going on here.

This can even extend to keyboard and drums but I don't play those instruments.

I suppose just copying and pasting established tabs would work as well I just haven't looked into it much...

well, it isn't that hard to tab a song out. the legal aspect is interesting. a site i went to regularly like 8 or 9 years ago when i was learning how to play was shut down for legal reasons. there was a great site for dead tabs called rukind.com that was (i think it still is) shut down for copyright infringement or something.

i can't tell where you're going with this... but if you're trying to just share ideas, the easiest thing to do is throw out some simple things about a piece you're working on... you know, time signature and progression and the like, then go from that. sorry if this reply is scattered. i think i need some sleep :p
