Ok- so I know asking this question might make sound like a total N00b at playing guitar- but I just bought this not too long ago so I'm trying to get it tuned. But- how do you use the tuner? Like there's 3 lights on the tuner. There 2 red lights- that show if you're too sharp or if you're too flat and then theres a green light in the middle I think thats supposed to show that the guitar is tuned right. But every time I strike a key- the light doesn't land on the green like it's supposed to- all it does is make all 3 lights start blinking at the same time.
use the tuning pegs and turn them slightly until they get In the green. Pluck the string with no fingers on the strings frets and then move the peg til you think you got it, let it come to a complete stop before you strike it again to see if its in tune. From the string closest to you(thickest string) to bottom (thinnest string) its e, a, d, g, b, e for standard tuning. It just goes in alphabetical order too so a is before b is before c is before d etc and g is the last letter then it rolls back over to a again. If you see an # or b following the letter you are not on the right notes for standard tuning.
