What Do You Consider The Worst Possible Crime And Why?

all crimes are =....... i know its an odd concept but if we really want eace: then maybe that is how we should look at crime.

because that person who has been sexually abused has their life's ruined and one sense it is murder cos it is killing their spirit

 

I think all those things, are HORRIBLE things to do.. Killing a person is ( maybe ) the worst thing you can do. But child abuse, the victim will always remember it, and have a trauma...
I still think killing someone is the worst thing of those two... but there are stories I've heard, about women locked up and tortured, sexual and physical, but also mental ofcourse. These stories are so horrible, that I couldn't listen to it, believe me... You'd prefer to die...

 

I voted child molestation or kidde fiddleing becasue it can casue a child severe mental damage, i dont know how to explain but i seen it happen and it is not a pretty sight

 

Big difference between murder and self defense

 

Based on your morals there may be. But that doesn't make it so. A murderer considers all murder to be equal. And so do some legal systems, which are based on the majorities morals.

I picked murdering people. Really, I think beating your family is much worse (as it leads to the others), but I don't think beating your wife or kids is worse than beating your husband or parents, so I didn't want to pick it.

 

kidi fidelan, is by far, in my mind, the much worse crime.

this is obvious because of the way society reacts to such a crime.

no one could give a shit about a murder...
but if theres a pedo living near u, its all over the news, people will try n drive the pedo away, torch his house.

pedo is by far the worst crime in the world.
murder isnt so bad. usualy there is a reason. its not aimed towards the youth of our society, a personal sick selfish crime.

once u have been fiddled with, the victim has a high liklihood of being a pedo... the person reverts bak to there first sexual experience (lets just say 5 years old), and so later in life, they find 5 year olds attractive, sexually.
i learnt that in psychology.
so thats why victims will end up being offenders.

 

hey, they don't all end up being attracted to children!!! i'm definitely not attracted to children in that way! also, lots of pedos were never sexually abused as children... more often than not, they were emotionally abused in some way tho....

 

murder hundreds of japs in a war, and you are a hero... murder one random person these days, one this isnt the enemy, and u are a criminal.

in some circumastances, killing somone, is completly fine. willfully killing somone is ok.

a lady in my town, druged her husband with sleeping pills, put plastic under him, shot him in the head twice. went to trial, and go off. this was because of years and years of abuse and threats that the husband did.
so in the eyes of the law, that was a full and complete self defense.
so she is innocent. but murdered him. and good on her.
so murder can be nothing. really.

i studied a bacholor of criminology for 1.5 years, and have a diploma of justice. so i have some background of law.

 

well depends on the circumstances, and i guess its not a 100% reoccurance rate. but thats just what i was told in a lecture.
some people may fight it off in there heads and never do it. some might circum to the tempation.

its somthign about Sigmund Freud's theory of psychosexual development, in regards to phallic stage, latency stage, genital stage, oral stage...and blah blah, i cant remember them all.
depends when it happens in the childs life, how many times it happens, how intense it happend.

 

i was a baby and it went on for 13 years on a regular basis.. i am quite fucked up sexually, although recovering (still) but i don't fancy kids, never have (except when i was a kid myself) and never will!!!... i know what pain and suffering it caused me, both mentally and physically and wouldn't want to inflict that on anyone EVER... there are always exceptions to the rule.... however, in my opinion, it is the worst crime for sure...

 

I voted kiddie fiddlin, though that's a really horrible term and I think makes it sound far less serious than what it actually is. I voted this because I think it's the worst thing anyone can do, murder is usually instant and whilst it takes away someones life I think it may be a better option than putting a child through emotional and physical hell and then having them live the rest of their life out with that pain, that to me is worse than murder

 

I agree. I voted 'kiddie fiddlin' too, I that is the lowest thing a person can do, I don't need to explain myself to you.

 

But I do want to add, I think abuse of a child is murdering their innocence, their peace of mind, their childhood. Murder is heinous, obviously, but sometimes I believe there are valid reasons for 'murder'. Like, if anyone touched my kids, I would fucking annihilate their asses!

sex with children seems to be a point of contention, but there are cultural biases in that argument; in different areas of the world, and at different times, standards were different, and possibly what is deemed acceptable and not acceptable contributes to the trauma of the victims as much as anything

personally, killing animals would be second on my list . . .

I think just because a certain country deems something to be acceptable this wouldn't alter the experience of the child in question. If a child goes through something threatening to their being or emotionally and physically harmful I don't think it being legal would make a difference to that.

 

i am not talking about legality, but cultural mores

if everyone accepts a thing, then perhaps there is no shame in it?

and thus, no emotional harm?

not sure about physical harm, i am guessing there have been very few cultures that would condone this sort of thing before puberty

but hell, even in new hampshire you can get married at the ages of 13 [female] and 14 [male] with parental and court permission
