rolling stones VS the beatles

I don't think the Stones suck, but in my opinion, there's just no comparison. The Beatles were just phenomenal.

I urge you to listen to any Beatles album today and try to say it’s dated. I can assure you that our grandchildren will be getting high to “Yellow Submarine” and “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds” one day, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside

Same here, on all points. Paul is one very sexy man. The bass is a major plus.

Beatles. It's not even close for me. The Stones are alright but I just don't think they can compare to the Beatles at all.

This is such a hard question to answer but it really depends on my mood, I suppose. I love both bands equally.

such a tricky questions, the beatles started it all for me, and had a wider range of musical talent in my opinion, but the stones brought it so damn hard and had more stage prescense. didnt the beatles discover the stones and get them their first record deal?

 

It's like comparing LSD with cocaine. One is spiritual and very varied but can make no sense sometimes. While the other is really jumpy and good no matter what. I, for one cannot decide between them. They're both two of my 5 favourite bands. Along with The Doors, Nirvana, and Led Zep

 

The Beatles. No doubt about. The Stones are cool too of course, they got great songs and I love 'em. But The Beatles are my band....

 

the beatles are fab, of course, but i could listen to the stones every day - they've got a larger discography and have mastered so many different styles of music there's always something to get my groove going

 

^wrong...the stones blow away the beatles just in longevity and in talent....the beatles had a melt down and went south.....just watching paul sitting at the piano and playing yesterday is enough for me to blow chunks.....
