Oxys and others w Allergy pills?

Just was wondering if anyone has tried to take any type of allergy pill along with an oxy or something similar to help with the itching? Anyone think its dangerous or worth a shot? Thanks for the info

 

True. There's a few things you could use to potentiate... if you wanna be dirty and puke.

 

benadryl isn't worth it to me. I feel like it taints the experience by fitting me with lead boots. Sure makes you nod though.

 

I used to wonder if I was allergic because I'd get so itchy but now it doesn't bother me as much (I know itching is normal.. but it was really bad).. Anyway, I used to take benadryl when it was awful but it made me real sleepy so I deal with it. Non-drowsy benadryl won't have the same effect though.. I should try that too.

 

Claritin will take away all the itchiness and has none of the nasty side effects that benadryl does

 

I am on opiate medications for pain and I take generic zyrtec to control allergies and it does help with the itching. If you are not able to find an over the counter agent to help with the itching I would talk to the healthcare professional who prescribes your pain medication and possibly he or she could write you a prescription to go along with the medication. best of luck to you and the anti itching solution.
