Actually he does give a shit... he raps about "offensive" things to try and create problems. If he didn't care what people thought, he'd just rap or sing about whats in his heart.

That's why I don't like him; he's sold out, he's only doing it for money and fame. He doesn't care what people think about his lyrics unless he isn't making money.

Now, if you look at some of the other rap out there... there's some stuff that I can really appreciate. I'm not really into rap, I don't own any albums, but I'm considering getting some. Eminem isn't someone who should be appreciated.

Michael Franti & Spearhead!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are really really good, and I despise rap music. Not all his music is rap, he's a pretty diverse musician. Check out their cd's 'Everyone Deserves Music', 'Stay Human', and 'Songs From The Front Porch'.

Check out www.spearheadvibrations.com, you can download a few songs off there, but the selection is pretty limited...check out bearshare, or if you have msn, I could send you a bunch.

I'll have to check them out; ever since I picked up San Andreas, I've learned to appreciate rap. I liked the older stuff before, but now I'm interested in the newer stuff as well. Guess I just needed some exposure to a good selection of groups/songs.

My bro's getting that game for XMas, I can't wait :p

I loved 3, but it was missing a bunch of stuff, and Vice City got boring really fast... does this game have the replayability of 3 and all the added stuff (and more) from Vice City?

Let's just say that I'm almost at 100 hours of play and only have 96.46~%; I've been working on getting 100% most of the time. Not to mention the amount of extra stuff outside of just 100% completion; I still like GTA III the best and find Vice City to be the funnest. I think I figured out/learned everything there is to know about Vice City after about 250+ hours of play; I haven't even memorized most of the map in San Andreas.

I like Bob Dylan, Neil Young, and the Grateful Dead quite much...

Are you all going to attempt to insult or offend me because of it?

If there's a life lesson that can be learned it's that accepting others will be more beneficial to an individual than getting their way through pressure.

You should have the freedom to listen to whatever you please. You should also have the freedom of speech, but, man, it's just wrong to go attacking others with what civil liberties you've got left. Think about it... that's the same way society works. Through pressure, terror, fear and paranoia. The fear that an individual or society may pressure you into what you don't believe in doing or pressure you out of something. It's not going to make a difference if you win or lose this argument because you can both lost and end up being bitter enemies or you can choose to accept each other's differences and learn that sometimes it doesn't matter what you listen to as long as you accept yourselves and others for who you are...

I can't tell you to do that, that's the thing about independence and freedom of speech. Before being able to use the shit for good, you need to learn to control the use of it before you lose your civil liberties altogether. That's the same damn reason why I'm against the Bush administration. Nobody understands... :(

I actually have to admit I enjoy some of Eminems' music. I did moreso, though, when I was in high school. I met him when he first got big with Hi, My Name Is and he was really cool. That whole thing just made an impression on me so I cant dislike him now...lol.

I only listen to his music though when me and my friends are in a certian "I just dont give a crap" mood. Otherwise, its not something I listen to normally anymore. Im more into music that has a little more meaning...if you know what I mean :) Also...I kind of moved on from my rap music faze I went through in high school. I have nothing against it....Im just more into rock, classic rock and electronica now.

I've played every game in the GTA series at my friend's house... including San Andreas. It's a lot like watching TV. I watch TV when I fall asleep or leave it on in the background when I'm not listening to the music. I watch something on occasion. I learn to pretty much live without it and find more meaning in other things. You can't always avoid corporate bullshit, but I try to stay away from that sort of thing when I can. Kind of hard living in a town where the only place where you can really get anything is a Wal-Mart... :p Not only that, but that's also a source of entertianment for people around here. About five counties shop there since it's one of the biggest on the East Coast.

Haha, I remember seeing that video for the first time and saying "wow..this song sucks, but its so good" :D

I never really got into him... I bought his first cd a little after it came out and soon got tired of it.

Well, roughly three times the size of Vice City, and yes, the PCJ-600 is in again. Although, it's dwarfed in acceleration and speed by the NRG-500; not to mention that Wu Zi Mu is the best damn video game character ever (you'll meet him when you play the game).

Haha damn, that's the exact same as it is here. My mom works at the Super Walmart, and people from as far as 30 miles away go there... I don't watch tv hardly ever, and I don't find much enjoyment in playing video games, but I really really like the GTA series for some reason.

Is the NRG-500 another crotch rocket?

I'll stop asking questions now :D

I never had a Rap Music phase... strangely, I've had a Barogue phase... I was obsessed with Johann Sebastian Bach for a long time. Read every biography I could get my hands on, on composers... that was when I was eight or nine :p
