needs to end if the human race is gonna make it. religion is the root of all evil. and religion makes goverment make decisions based on religion when not everyone has the same beliefs. religion and government have been around as long as eachother and was came up with to control us. if there were no religions thered be no war.

You haven't seen what places with no government are like have you? Power vacuums are called such for a reason, eventually something will fill said vacuum. You best stock up on guns.
We really do have a representative government. BUT...In Alabama's primaries this past week only 31% of the voters showed up, which is typical for America. This means that the Alabama government will be selected by and represent the minority. Democracy only works when citizens educate themselves and participate. Neither of these are happening to the degree necessary. .
