My favorite band to listen to when tripping is Pink Floyd especially the Syd Barrett stuff...

The Grateful Dead for sure. I always stick to the classics when I trip.

But if I'm using a psychedelic while meditating I'll choose some sitar or Indian flute albums.

Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey - Live sets are the best ive found for onset... get some from 2003-2005 off archive.org
Zilla - All Iz (for anytime)
Skeetaz - Off (for later when your really feeling good 4-6 hours after dose, and to keep energy high)

would imagine a lot of others are really cool too, but unfortunately i cant listen to my entire library whilst tripping. Slidecamp and SunMonx would be cool too if you can record/get your hands on their myspace tracks with an audio hijack program (audio hijack pro for example)

Shpongle hands down is my favorite tripping music.

There is tons of other great stuff out there though too.

Yeah it's pretty fun saying Shpongled when you're getting shpongled. Syd Barret- Late night is pretty great too. Crystal Castles/Whoa-B/Royksopp is good for a mix

Lately ... I have been in tune to the "Blue Note" groove ...

    At the time ... 60's & early 70's ... it was underground stuff ...

I have discovered this sound in 1994 ...
And still in the process of discovering this fabulous style of groove !!!

4 a sample on how this sounds at :

If any of you like it , let me know on my PM ...

Tool, later albums tho like 10,000 days. their earlier stuff is less deep and intricate. a good bit of tool when uber high gives me goosebumps...

I get high by listening to the mantras and kirtans. For example, Krishna Das and Snatam Kaur Shanti. Does anyone else?
