What would happen if you braided long straight hair, then tousled the braids by hand, then backcombed the hair into an afro and proceeded to leave the afro alone? Would the afro just fall down and turn back into straight hair or would it stick until it locked?
Why would you go through all that trouble when you can just wait a little bit and get them the right way? To answer your question though, I think if you leave any kinda hair alone it will dread.
After All That....Braiding....Tousling....Backcombing....Etc..Etc.....Don't Be Too Suprised If Your Whole Head Just "Asplodes" From All The Built Up Tension In The Hair.... Cheers Glen.
Yes. It wouldn't even be an afro. It would be a backcombed mess. All the kinks from the braids and the BCing would fall out with washing, so you'd just be back with straight hair within a couple of days.
It's always good when coming to a new forum to recognise the local looser. Thank you for the thread, Natty. Made it easy.
He actually isn't the local loser, it's a dude called Diton who gets banned more than I change my knickers. His current name is Notid. Original. Natty is a close second though.
nigga you making it mad complicated. you could braid hair and leave it for 6 months, the roots will lock up.
