Anyone know anyy good music festivals in canada this summer?

I live in nova scotia, i want to find a music festival close by, if anyone knows any, i would love to hear about it .
when i say close by i mean like, somewhere i can there and back in a week. so like, 20 hours away or some shyt .

Sudbury Ontario's Northern Lights Festival. 3 day festival. I love it.

 

About 20 hours will get you to Ottawa if you wanted to.

From July 6 to July 18 is Bluesfest

Most of these have passes so you can arrange more than one venue.

 

Imagine Music and Arts Festival
in Toronto on June 10, and 11th i think. Still waiting for the lineup and tickets to go on sale though...
Put on by one of the guys who started the original Woodstock 69. I'm buying tickets regardless, i would hate to miss out on something that could end up being so big. http://imagineconcert.com/

Hillside Festival
July 23 -25 in Guelph i believe...
from what i hear - a really nice chillout vibe happening there.
Might check this out for the first time too.

not summer, but... September - Labour of Love at the Guvernment in Toronto. All night Techno party during labour day weekend sometime. Don't miss this one!!! Life changing.

Folk Fest, Birds Hill Park by Winnipeg. I don't know how far you are from us, but its a 3 day music festival thats AWESOME.

The new Woodstock - "Imagine Music and Arts Festival" has been moved to September.
Much better timing if you ask me.

Xavier Rudd is coming to the Forum in Halifax in September.... evolve.... the Jazz festival is happening real soon and the buskers in August (which usually has awesome music)... If your close to Halifax just pick up "The Coast" or check it online.. Its our "local" paper/magazine thats free on the side of the road.
