Me and a friend are planning to squat a small castle somewhere in Belgium. I was just thinking that maybe some people might give us some usefull information. We found out who the owner is, and we would try to get an agreement going with him that we would live in the place and in turn maintain the house and the beautiful garden a bit. Anybody done this before?
Spreek je Nederlands? Heb een oude kerk gekraakt en het is heel simpel eigenlijk! Is het kasteel met nog een dak? Dus wind en waterdicht? Zo ja dan moet je het volgende doen: er moet een jaar niemand zijn geweest! Als je het gaat kraken dan moet je een stoel, een bed en een tafel meenemen! Je kraakt de deur open en zet deze spullen neer, vervolgens bel je de politie en zeg je dat je het gebouw gekraakt hebt en begin je ondertussen met het vervangen van het slot van de deur! Als de politie is gearriveerd bel je de eigenaar met het nieuws dat je het gebouw hebt gekraakt en voilà de eigenaar kan niks meer doen! Het is immers wet dat dit mag! Wil graag langskomen als je het gedaan hebt en als je een expert nodig hebt dan ben ik zeker bereid om je te komen helpen! Bn je net als ik rond de 20? Veel ouder dan dat dan wordt het erg zwaar ben jaloers! Een echt kasteel... Maarja wie kan nu zeggen dat je een kerk hebt gekraakt!!! Zit er ondertussen alweer 9 jaar in voor nop dus klaag niet! Ik hoor wel! Groeten uit Nederland!!!
Sounds cool. You already have your castle picked out? Can we see it plox? That shit could be COLD, be prepared for that.... especially depending how much of a ruin it is. If that doesn't work, what I personally would do is try to find public land or something with a remote, seldom visited castle.... I like that "neglect" look
Ik dacht dat je het ANTIkraak hield. Nuja. We gaan binnen twee weken met de eigenaar overleggen om er in te kunnen trekken. In Belgie geldt dat niet, van die tafel, stoel en bed. Wel jammer. De eigenaars wonen ernaast...
Sure we have It's a nice neglected building of about 100 years old. It is historical heritage and we want to protect it while on the same time live on a domain that's really really beautiful. I'll post some pix when we finally get into it. In three weeks or so that should be the case, but now I have exams...

I like to call it a castle but it's not the kind of castle people would think about (the ones from knights and kings and all those people). I think indeed you'd call it a manor in english. Anyway, on that piece of land there was a castle for about 500 years, it is a very important place in local history. Although people don't seem to care...
