Why is there such a negative spin on JWH-018 smoking products? We smell a Reefer Madness ploy. What do you think?
Definitely would agree with someone who called it crackweed, it is very strong, and it has been mentioned that it binds more heavily to CB1/CB2 receptors. But in my experience the eventual side effects just aren't worth it. Stick to something that is known to be relatively healthy if you plan on long term usage.
Yes some cannabinoids have shown a greater affinity to the CB1 and CB2 receptors but the potency is the same just the time for the individual to notice the effects is shorter. Since JWH-018 added to a spice blend is a far more uniform vehicle for the dispersion, a single gram of JWH-018 enhanced spice product can contain the same amount of THC levels in a quarter once of marijuana. Which is why larger quantities of the JWH-018 can be administered faster and with far less material. The side effects are the same as THC except for the toxicology screening. Also we have found that mixing certain cannabinoid compounds can cause a confusion of the CB1 and CB2 receptors since the two separate compounds are vying for the same receptors. JWH-018 shows the same low cytotoxic levels as THC which makes it impossible for a human to smoke enough to overdose. We are doing a grass roots research project to find and document the true effects of JWH-018.
I'd never even heard of it until about a week ago when I happened upon a discussion of the spice mentioned earlier. On payday I bought 1G (of the spice, not the additive), enjoyed a small portion of it last weekend, and was pleasantly surprised. One hit and I could feel it. But... I've set it aside as a substance of last resort on a rainy day, only due to my concern about potential unknown carcinogens. I even use a fuji these days rather than inhale more burnt hydrocarbon microparticles. It may not be at all like the weed you smoke, but it's at least as good- and similar to- the commercial-grade mj that I tend to happen upon these days. As I stated before the media is portraying this as a potential danger because of it's "unknown" properties however we know the effects of many of the components. Our grass roots research project has a spice blend that is fully labeled with all ingredients. Including the amount of JWH-018 added to each gram. All participants know exactly what they get. We have found that some participants react differently to different blends do to personal allergies and preferences. So we remove 99.9% of bacteria and allergens prior to JWH-018 enhancement. We have yet to have an allergic reaction. We are also introducing electronic cigarettes in our study to gain data on the effects through vaporization. We are also testing reactions through edible sources.
But then, aren't you a distributer of this stuff, and what about all of the kids going to emergency rooms, which is all I've heard about it on the news? Shouldn't the people selling this stuff be compensating the victims? And, are you posting in forums to improve your search engine rankings? Pot is not hard to find, why take something that is putting people in the hospital? .
It's pretty dumb buying blends. Assuming he distributes about 10mg of JWH-018 to a gram of random leaves, and sells that gram for about 5 dollars lets say, he could turn 1g of jwh 018 (~$50), into about $500. Not to mention who knows the shit you're smoking in a blend.. I'd just stick to buying pure :S
This discussion is about learning the truth about JWH-018 and its effects on the human body, ill or not. We distribute JWH-018 products, but unlike the media portrayal, we distribute in a responsible way. All blends are processed to remove the bacteria and allergens. Everything is labeled with the ingredients and potency rating w/key. We sell at lowest price to cover manufacturing, processing and shipping. None of our products were ever involved with any health complaint. We are currently helping the Chief Coroner for Marion County with her investigation.
Really? Then why did you start this thread with a reference to "Reefer Madness?" I've seen the same type of posts by you on other boards and you are not talking about health issues. So, if this thread is about the health issues of JWH-018, let's talk about that and the Emergency Room admissions. And, does this "responsible way" include information about possible health risks?" https://thecrimebeat.wordpress.com/category/blog/page/3/ And why is the Coroner investigating this drug? .
This has been made a political issue by the politicians themselves. State Rep. John Barnes is introducing legislation to ban all JWH-018 products in Indiana. http://www.in.gov/legislative/house_democrats/barnes_index.html He is basing his legislative ban on the legal JWH-018 on media and news reports absent of factual data. Vic Ryckaert wrote a front page article for the Indianapolis Star on 4/22/2010 that spice is dangerous and risky. However when you read the article the most dangerous thing they say is 8 people spoke of symptoms of "headache". That's all. This was reported without investigating the question that if JWH-018 cannot be found on a urine, blood or hair toxicology test, how can they definitely say that spice was to blame? Also what other things could cause a "headache"? Check out our grassroots research project. We are collecting data to tell the truth and stop the Reefer Madness reporting.
This thread was started speaking of the media portrayal of JWH-018 and possible opposing views. If you knew anything about the movie "Reefer Madness" 1936 you'd understand that the Marijuana Taxation Act of 1937, which made marijuana basically illegal, was spurred on by a propaganda film. Just as in the movie JWH-018 is being portrayed as a dangerous substance when any research that has been done on it already shows that it is as harmless as THC. Were you aware that it is physically impossible for a human being to smoke enough THC or JWH-018 to "overdose"? You'd have to smoke 1500 pounds of marijuana in 15 minutes to ingest enough THC from the marijuana to die from it. That is the equivalent of 63.3 pounds of pure THC or JWH-018 ingested in 900 seconds. Which is why there has never been a single reported death due to marijuana overdose. Ever. JWH-018 has been shown to have almost the exact same low LD50 cytotoxic levels as the substance it was created to mimic. So why do you so readily believe a news report so full of factual holes? We are responsible in that we consider possible health effect that may occur when smoking any substance. As in allergic reactions or interactions with other known drugs. As when taking any herbal product a person should be aware of possible interactions with their personal prescribed drugs. Some people have noted a greater awareness of the side effects of other drugs they are taking like the raised blood pressure and elevated heart rate associated with prescription ADHD medication. We provide fully organic processing to remove bacteria and allergens from any of our smoking products. We also only enhance the blends with JWH-018 and no other cannabinoids. Many questions have not been asked but the media and an uneducated public have drawn hard conclusions from speculation and hysteria. Much like “Reefer Madness”. And the coroner is investigating the death of a Jordan Delay. It was reported to the coroner that he smoked K2 several hours before his death. We are helping the coroner to find out the cause of his death and providing valuable information and research material to find the truth.
I saw "Reefer Madness" well before most people on this board were born. You own web site states: "Little research has been done on the product JWH-018 and its effects on the human body" Can you post links to any credible scientific research to support your conclusion that this product is "harmless?" The link that you posted previously that said "Grass roots Research project" is nothing more than a sales pitch, I saw no links to join such a study. Pot, yes; JWH-018, no, there is no evidence to support your claims. I didn't say I believed the news reports. I have no doubts that people have been hospitalized, but for exactly what is the question. On the other hand, I am not ready to believe you either; you have no more evidence than your detractors. Since the major purchasers of this product seem to be teenagers and young adults, why take any chances? Yet there is no information on possible interactions on your web site. And these people are in the care of a physician, your customers are not. I get my news from many credible sources and I have seen no such conclusions, only reports of young people being hospitalized after smoking this product. Parents are rightfully concerned for their children and until this product is shown to be safe I agree with this concern. And this doesn't concern you enough to stop selling it? I'm the first in line to support decriminalization of possession of all drugs; but, if a product has been shown to be harmful, as meth is, it should not be sold. I don't think anyone should be arrested for possessing this drug, but until it's been shown to be relatively safe, I don't think it should be sold. The responsible act would be to suspend sales until credible scientific research can be conducted. .
“Those who do not know history are, destined to repeat it.” Edmund Burke And like you I’m sure that many have seen Reefer Madness but don’t know that it was what leads to the banning of marijuana in 1937, by people who didn’t know the real effects of THC on the human body. They portrayed marijuana as a horrible mind bending drug that only “children” would take and go crazy killing and raping anything in sight. Remember? Were they right? Has the last 75 years shown the film to be right? Or have we seen the truth of what propaganda can do to a society. You of all should know of the research done over the years on marijuana and the active ingredient THC. Here is some information about the low toxicity of THC http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrahydrocannabinol. And then there is JWH-180 http://www.synchronium.net/2009/02/21/jwh-018-toxicology/. Please excuse us for not being able to respond sooner as we are under attack and have a possible security breach which has impaired our website and uplink. More to come...hopefully.
Yes I have. I've also seen what bad drugs do to people and a society. Marijuana has a history of as many as thousands of years, JWH-180, not quite so long. Did you post this with a straight face? A study by an anonymous person, substantiated by an anonymous person. .
Hello, I am freaking out! I tried this spice 2 days ago, worked awesome.Yesterday morning I woke up to find itchy red bumps all over my body. I took Beanadrile and figured it was a mild allergic reaction. Then this morning I still have spreading happening. Has Anyone else had an allergic reaction to this stuff? do I need to go to the hospital? Thanks
You didn't go frolicking through the woods and get into some poison ivy, did you? And, why would you use something that is under investigation in a coroner's inquest and has sent many people to the emergency room? I've always been curious about why people use drugs that they know are dangerous. If it keeps getting worse, I'd at least call a doctor and ask, but without any other symptoms, it doesn't sound serious. .
I did not go frolicking anywhere... I did it because a. Its Legal b. Its Intense c. Its Legal I am not doing it again because A. I have a red fing rash all over my body, 3 days later. So no one in Hip Forums has ever had any kind on skin reaction to JWH-018,JWH-037,Spice, Herbal Incense etc...????? I need some help here...
