You can't expect to get all the perks of being a man, and expect none of the responsibilities, equality can be a double edged sword. You wanted to get treated equally, you gotta chip in equally on all levels, including monetary. You can't have your cake and eat it too. I give women leeway because they have to birth children and carry our kids, so during pregnancy, the chivalry can return, but after that, back to good old equality town.

It's like being an adult. When you're a kid you want to be an adult because they have freedom, but when you are an adult you realize that freedom comes with responsibilities like paying rent, insurance, bills etc....

There are some women out there that are old fashion though, they want to be a stay at home mom, and if that's your type of thing, then fine, but it's not for me. Different strokes for different folks I guess.
