I don't know about moose meat, but if you're trying to sell duck or lawyer meat, Dick Cheney's your man.
i've never heard of people eating moose. doesn't seem so weird. you can eat just about everything here, crocodile, emu, kangaroo. you can buy kangaroo scrotum sack coin purses.
Are containers crafted from kangaroo scrotums that common? If anyone I know alerts me of a trip down under, I shall ask them to purchase me one. I don't think I would want to eat emu.... as in edward the emu
depends on where they're from, i guess. most of the people i know are horrified by the idea of eating wild game but perfectly thrilled to eat something wrapped in plastic from the store and feedlots and such. i don't understand it. i tell people i hunt elk and deer and they get all whacked out about it over their grilled hamburgers. some people are just kinda different and honestly make no sense.
but the best meat i've ever tasted in my life is oryx. but it's really really hard to get a tag to hunt at white sands.
Well if anyone is looking to dine on moose (or looking for revenge) The Maine Department of Fisheries and Wildlife is implementing a controlled moose hunt again this year to ease the negative impact on the broccoli and cauliflower crops in Aroostook County, and to help reduce the risk of moose-vehicle collisions along route 1 H
No realli! She was Karving her initials on the møøse with the sharpened end of an interspace tøøthbrush given her by Svenge - her brother-in-law - an Oslo dentist and star of many Norwegian møvies: "The Høt Hands of an Oslo Dentist", "Fillings of Passion", "The Huge Mølars of Horst Nordfink".
:-| i thought you were talking about the fluffy stuff.. but i just realized then i think that that's spelt mousse
Ya know what, I think she read this thread and is out there trying to bring down her first moose! That gal can do anything and my bet is on her not the moose!
I'd probably try moose.. I've eaten alot of weird animals before. I feel like moose might taste like bear or something, though.
they're not heaps common, you don't see them in the regular supermarkets, just in the touristy stores. they are not hard to come by though. ha i remember reading edward the emu in school. it creeped me out how they drew him though, they're not the most attractive animal
