how do ya tell if blue chees had gone bad

    like the question say how do tell if moldy chease had gone bad.I'm serious here, im eyeballing some danish blue thats in my frdge, but its of questionable age. it was sitting in the back of the fridge and I dont remember buying it.

    theres no fuzzy mold on it or anything, just the normal looking mold.

    The mold that forms on cheese usually seems noticably greener than the greenish blues already found in bleu cheese. If still in doubt, shave a thin layer off the entire exterior before eating and you'll be fine.

    eh, seems to taste good. though my sister seem to be gaging at the sight of it.


    just a liitle evening snack, liverwurst and blue chees on saltines.

    hmmmm I'm thinking when you eat a little of it and it gets you high....It's time to either throw it out or take another hit!!! :D

    Blue Cheese is BAD when it tastes sour like Vinegar.
    It should have some tang to it, yet NOT be sour.
