Sugar Magnolia similarities

    I noticed today that the song, "Sugar Magnolia" sounds just like, "I Fought The Law." Did the Dead rip off Sonny Curtis and The Crickets?

    I wouldn't call it a rip off but I'm sure it was an inspiration :) they certainly made it something of their own
