my bro lives with the grandma. shes old fashioned. very religious and thinks all women would stay at home cook n clean for the men. so im 17 no school, no job and i just live. so i go there and sleep sometimes and now she tells me if i go there i have to clean my brothers room. she tells me im lazy and don't do anything. i tell her straight what i think about it. i don't wanna be rude because that's how she normally thinks, and she will never change her thinking ways or will probably forget 10 mins later and hassle me again. what would you people do?
My little brother stayed with our Grandma for a year, She charged him rent (when he worked), and made him do stuff around the house. Are you staying in your brothers room? That's the only reason i can think of for her to make you clean it. I would say if you're living under her roof, and eating her food, etc. She has every right to put you to work around the house.
i sometimes stay for a night, and i do clean up after my self, she is just very sexist about the way she goes about it. and in life in general.
