Don't you guys notice a homoerotic tendency in trophy couples?

Like, doesn't it appear to you trophy partners are meant to send a status signal to the same sex?

I.e., female impresses other females with her trophy boyfriend; male impresses other males with his trophy girlfriend, etc.

 

i don't know any trophy couples.

 

And I don't know what that has to do with homoerotism.

I don't believe in "hot." Hot should probably be defined as, "higher socio-economic status."

The exact same bodies without make up, clothes, cars, and other status symbols would be considered average or downright undesirable.

I take a celeb couple so we both know who I am talking about.


Now she's a current 'It' girl, one of the hottest on the planet apparently (probably not according to either of us, but bear with me), shes definately a trophy girlfriend, famous, rich, good looking

But why is she with him? He's only semi famous; a 90210 has-been thats been in a few B rated TV shows since, not relatively rich compared to her and no where near as famous

But I do know he's fully a Trophy boyfriend. What is it that she is rubbing in the face of all other females by being with him? What makes him different to all others?, she could get any guy really, she could get better looking, richer, more famous......why him?


I know the answer, I know all the girls know the answer, even though they'll never admit to it cos its top secret, and I also know its something just about all straight guys are blinded to, even ones that do well with the ladies such as yourself. The girls will call it love, I'll roll my eyes and say "yeah right".

My point being, there's no real homoerotic element, if its something 98% of the male population is blinded to, sure there is some homoerotic element - he's good looking, but I'm not talking about that, what puts him in that top 1% in a certain ranking that lets my kind know he's off limits, and also lets him get a gal with her ranking even though he seemingly is batting above his average

Or to put it another way, there is one factor you didnt mention that you can only see if your think like her

Well, its not that its top secret, you know what I'm talking about, I'm talking about Stamina, more that its unexplainable because it relies on instinct, most guys would have no radar when it comes to that in other guys as its of no relevance. Or more simply: There is no homoerotic element if it is about the finest of hetero, in this case its something most guys are blinded to and she'll get the claws out with every other female
