I have the perfect spot on the top of a hill in the abandoned nature preserve down the street from me. It's weird because no wind ever touches me, even if it is kinda cold/windy. So relaxing. I'm getting my body ready for my vacation in July; Carribean cruise for 7 days. My dual enrollment high school graduation present. One thing I picked to do is in Belize, going to through the rainforest in a jeep, then they are going to drop us off, and we're going to get in a floaty tube in a river in a cave and float lazily for 6 HOURS! I'm excited.
Wow, that sounds pretty amazing! It would be so relaxing to just float down a river for six hours, no cares in the world, nothing to worry about.
I've done it where I live a few different times, Michigan rivers and what have you. But this is going to be through a rainforest in a cave, shall be swell I imagine. I'll definitely share about it.
Long nature trail that are traveled very little by others. just strip down and walk.. if your carrying stuff, back pack it and store it under a bush. Keep a sarong wrap handy should you see people..
I read that as "I have the perfect body" I thought to myself "Fuck you, guy!" Anyway, Belize is supposed to be amazing. Over the Summer (in a week actually) I'm going to London (home), then Miami (second home) then New York, then Mexico, Costa Rica, Rio de Janeiro, Chile, Easter Islands, Papeete, Australia, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Bangkok, Phuket, Maldives, Mauritius, then back here (South Africa) I'm excited To be honest, I'd trade half of those away to go through the rainforest and flow through the caves and shit :coffee: You should try and scuba dive while you're there!
Make sure you don't have any cuts while on the river... I've seen some pretty wicked stuff on the Discovery Channel but other than that, I'm uber jealous of you.

I was thinking I'd be alright as long as I don't pee in the river. Parasites down in South America will swim right up the urethra. That would be absolute hell.
hope you have a great holiday mate! i've spent my time in that sub-tropical jungle shit... NEVER, EVER, AGAIN! back in 1980, i was in southeast asia. after i got back to the u.s.a. i was one sick motherfucker. i had contracted blackwater fever. i almost die from that shit! i still suffer from re-bound effects from it at times. don't belive anyone who tells you that, the area is free from malaria... their full of shit! TAKE EVERY PERCAUTION! sometimes that don't even work! i took every percaution for malaria, and still i contracted it. please come back healthy.
Except the satellite in the sky that just happens to be zooming that area!! (Thats the only thing i wouldnt like) I think going nude @ night IS THE BEST WAY... (Then the sats cant see you (Google Earth,etc))
