Well I was about to link wowscape, because it was badass back when they pretty much pioneered the private server, and ran the best. But apparently it turned into a steal blizzes buisness thing, sites down and I found an article about their collapse... BUT, there are most defnitly free options for world of warcraft, and if they don't suit you, pay to play funds their massive number of servers and massssssivvvveee amounts of bandwidth, as well as continuing WoW development each and every day, it doesn't stay the same. Not for everyone, but tt's still a great game, because of parts that people who say "its stupid to pay" will never see, because they haven't played the game... Unless you have a severely addictive personality, its a fun game.... and someteen million subscribers agree...
WoW is fun as fuck. But yeah... does get a little repetitive. Just like every single RPG and MMORPG to ever exist.
there's only one MMO i ever liked.. ultima online. full loot system, full pvp.. not your grandma's game. i have fond memories of joining different guilds, gaining their trust, being allowed access into their vaults, and robbing them blind. don't even bother looking into it now though, glory days are long over.
Runescape was bad ass in 4th-7th grade. I was level 1 hundred and something and I just remember kicking ass. Then I just got grew it. Stopped being fun. Now anarchy online is the best game ever. Sooooo complicated. Almost too much so.

if your lookin for a emu for playstation games epsxe is a good one you just have to download the iso's which are pretty easy to find
