This movie is hilarious. Its a mockumentary about a folk music group reunion. Eugene Levy (aka Stiffler's dad from American Pie) is in it. I laughed my ass of even though I wasn't on anything.

I wanted to see A Mighty Wind. I've seen Best in Show, which was just hilarious, I'm sure this will be just as good.

Oh man i love this series of mockumentaries - Waiting for guffman is my favourite - the send up of actors is just fantastic. The others are great too through - there are some classic Mitch and Mickey moments.

eugene isnt stiffler's dad, he plays jim's dad. I dont think stifler has a dad in the american pie movies.

yeah eugene levy acts in alot of those christopher guest movies. waiting for guffman and best in show to name a few. Best in show has to be the best christopher guest movie (besides spinal tap of course). if you like a mighty wind you would definitely like best in show. its hilarious, and its along the same vein.... with weird, quirky interviews.. most of these shows are improvised, off the cuff so to speak, no set lines, really.

All three of those movies are hilarious.

I think the best parts of Best in Show are from Fred Willard.

oops. my bad. I saw American Pie a long time ago and I was in a VERY altered state of mind so I can't remember the names of the various characters.

BTW: Did you notice that one of the guys from Spinal Tap was in A Mighty Wind? He was the guy that sang Baritone in the trio.

Too bad they didn't spoof Dylan. Then again a spoof of Dylan would be too easy. All they would have to do is find a guy with a mop of curly hair and have him mumble and sing off key.(I mean no disrespect to Bob Dylan)

hahaha there were three guys from spinal tap that were in a mighty wind. that was michael mckeon, harry shearer, and christopher guest. they were the folk trio in mighty wind, and the three members of spinal tap. they just had less hair in mighty wind, are were about 20 years older.
