And yes this is a free speech forum, but why do you see the need to come in this thread and spread your hate? I'm not glorifying him as some HF demi-god, I'm just saying how much I miss my friend.

If you or anyone else would like to bash my friend you may take your "reviews of their antics", or whatever other euphemism you would like to use, and make your own thread.

If you don't have anything nice to say simply don't say it, or at least hide it away in the whiners forums where all of your complaints are welcome

Wasn't the very first convo thread originally just a drunken conversation between brian and someone else that more people started going into.

This isn't a touchy feely thread, but if you're about to bash someone that I have certainly built a friendship with for three years, then you can gtfo as it's annoying, and also the main reason moderators end up closing threads.

There is a very obvious difference between stating your opinion and bashing someone.

 

i don't understang why something not that big and important made him leave for good so abruptedly it makes me wonder if something else might have happened.

every forum needs a reliable, consistent thing to laugh at every weekend, and CC kept us supplied with plenty of whack stories that keep us wondering what kinda shit hell get into next. It sucks that hes gone, but as stated earlier, people come and go from these forumns all the time, and its not the end of the world

 

my first impression was that he was a snotty little brat. he was alright, as far as snotty little brats go.

I'm not even sure he'd disagree with me though, which is why he aint that bad.

His girlfriend found all the shite he was saying so he made himself get banned. Was talking to him a while back on msn bout it. Yeah in fairness he was a bit of a twat in the last few months but fuckit I mean to give him so much shit over it is just petty. He was fun and entertaining and contributed a lot to the SL, more than most anyway...its as if ye expected more maturity out of a 17 year old. He was just acting his age.

 

Yet when it comes to a 17 year old wanting to do something, they are quite quick to point out that 'they are an adult and can do what they please'...


First sign of trouble though, it's "I'm just a kid"...

Regardless of age, people are responsible for their own choices... whether they accept that or not... which is what maturity is all about, accepting that responsibility.

He made his choices, everything that has been said in this thread is simply just people's responses to those choices...

Then, instead of trying to fix the problems he had, he ran away and hid from them and then he fucked that up as well... lol

Im not sure how thats relevant to Ian, he was an ignorant asshole and he knew it, never claimed to be an adult but he did do some thick as pigshit things. Im not going to waste time rationalising his actions though, he chose to do what he did and dealt with the consequences as he saw fit, just as we all do. Whether we think they were wrong or not doesnt matter, he did what he thought was right and people bitching about it months later on an internet forum arent going to change that.

I know at 17 I never called myself an adult, and I did and still do a lot of stupid things. I laughably call myself an adult now but Ive always taken responsibility for my actions no matter what my age.
