Nevermind, if that is your attitude regarding being responsible for some one else's child then you are far from being an adult.

 

It lasts as long as you want it to. It's lasted me 24 hours, 12 hours, 8 hours and so on and so forth. It depends on how much you're enjoying it and how much you've done. I had an experience where I KNEW I had to stop tripping or I'd be in big trouble and boom. done.

Dose when you don't got shit to do the next day. It's MUCH better 'cuz frankly you don't know how awake, tired, or whatever you're gonna be that next lucid day, and it's always nice to have that full rest day mental peace.

 

yes this is popularly known as the placebo effect. Some RCs are known to have this effect also.

 

I gotta back up PB Smith's advice. If you have to watch a kid the next morning, tripping for your first time 11 hours earlier just isn't smart. Especially if this kid is of the age that they can't be trusted outside of some supervision. Tripping is a mentally draining experience and your going to be tired. Yes, everything would still probably go just fine, you'd have a fun night, get through the next day, and crash afterwards. It's just not very responsible drug use though. There's always the next day or next week to trip and you'll probably enjoy things a little more with no responsibilities to worry about afterwards.

Didn't people tell you not to mix acid and other drugs except maybe weed, and that in moderation your first time.
You come in here and ask for advice for your first time, you get it and choose to totally ignore advice from others much more experienced than you, what did you expect?

You were advised not to mix stuff your first time trying acid for a reason.

The length of the trip has nothing to do with your willpower and everything to do with your body's metabolism of the active compound. LSD will never last 24 in peak effects, even with a massive MAOI supplement. It was either: placebo, not LSD, or, most likely, just being fried for a day after a good acid trip.

Do I really need to go into how silly it is to claim you can stop an acid trip at will? A simple experiment will show this is not the case; drop acid, and when you start peaking in 3-4 hours, "stop it". Good luck

 

I didn't stop it myself. But my dad called me about business and as soon I saw the number I started flipping a shit. When I said "Hello" Everything seemed to stop. When I was done I took a deep breath, got a massive rush and continued to trip dicks. I've heard other cases of this. Perhaps the brain knows when to and when not to fuck around

And as I've said, the peak is 8 hours tops and the after effects last 24 hours all in all. Nobody seemed to read that. You criticizing bunch you.

 

What were you thinking???? LSD is not just some toy for your entertainment. DXM and LSD? That sounds like a horrible combination. If you want to be belligerent and irresponsible take it somewhere else man. Steer away from psychedelics if you're not at a place in your life where you can use them responsibly. Don't abuse them.

I feel like it doesn't take that much thinking to realize that mixing LSD and DXM is a horrid plan. Unless of course you've never done LSD in which case you shouldn't be experimenting with combinations.

You asked for advice and we all gave our input. You completely neglected all of our advice. You didn't do your research and you definitely didn't wait for an opportune time. If you wanted our input you could at least do us the courtesy of respecting what we have to say.

Sorry for being so rude with this post, but your negligence could have caused more serious problems than "a crazy trip".

 

I'm sure others have said it, and I'm not trying to be a dick, but especially if it was an uncomfortable speedy feeling, what you're describing sounds more like DOB or a DOx that would fit on blotter. They last a long time, and are generally unpleasant IMHO

that stuff is (in places) much more common than real LSD

on real acid, you are peaking the whole trip ;-)

Shrug, this is quite possible during a +2 experience, in fact it's the defining characteristic of a +2. Generally with 50-150 mcg this is pretty doable, depending on your specific body chemistry. You're not exactly sober, but you can access a nearly sober headspace if you really need it.

Try this on 200+ mcg, it won't work. Try it on a couple thousand, and..well... just no.

Btw, you are kinda mis-using the term 'peak'. The peak is generally 1-3 hrs, starting from 2-4 hrs in. It's the time when the drug has it's strongest effects, not the entire time you are high. After that, you are still 'high' but notably clearer. After a few more hours, you end up mostly 'down' but still feel aftereffects. And yeah, you'll still feel aftereffects until you sleep, even if that is -days- later. But these are aftereffects, and are generally not considered part of the high. Interestingly, I've had such effects last for over 24 extra hours(totaling around 30-34 including the high itself), and yet other times I've slept for 2 hrs immediately after the high and woke up with no aftereffects aside from that touch of added lucidity that I always feel for a few days anyway.

 

Wow. Just...wow. You do realize that certain drug combinations can actually just kill you right? And that some are just plain likely to be a bad experience? I mean, it seems you lucked out and got the latter rather then the former. DXM and LSD aren't likely to kill anyone together. And there are actually some people who enjoy that combo, though I imagine they are rare. Disassociatives and triptamines mix in interesting ways, and can create incredibly powerful immersive experiences, taking you to whole new worlds. But... Jeez, you don't even know what acid is like and you decide to mix up 3 potent psychotropics. Some of those worlds can be nightmare worlds if your head's not ready.

And see, this is why things like DARE bother me. You tell kids all kinds of lies about drugs, they find out some of the things they've been told are lies, and so they won't believe anything that anyone tells them.

Listen, you came to a forum full of people who are experienced, who know about these things. People who, many of them, are really wanting to tell you the truth about stuff, from their own experiences, and from the knowledge they've accumulated. And you asked for advice. Why did you ignore us and simply assume you knew better?

 

I heard you won't get high on acid your first time unless you plug it.
