Just go for it now haha. I would say if it wasn't something u guys have discussed, don't just surprise him cuz u can freak people out. Uhh.. because they've read lots of text books on human anatomy and know what they are looking for.

Actually a lot of doctors allow their patient's partners to do the prostate exam because they feel more comfortable and then they tell their partner's doctor their findings.

I have checked my facts and am currently in the process of starting this with my partner's doctor because he feels more comfortable with me preforming the examination. This has become a more commonplace practice than you may realize. But I am also in the health care profession which I guess I should have mentioned. But there is nothing wrong with giving yourself an examination and then telling your doctor if something feels oddly shaped or larger than normal. Obviously if I find anything unsettling, we will tell his doctor and then his doctor will examine him to see if there is any cause for alarm.

Women do the same thing with breast examinations till they are 50 and need yearly mamograms.

 

Abra-I checked out the link you provided. It is very informative. I was all good to go until the "...It is relatively deep inside..." part.
