I had a step cousin who died about 4 years ago. He was an obnoxious little asshole like rat seems to be. They said it was an OD but it wouldn't surprise me if he got a hotshot (i.e. purer than advertised because he owed his dealer too much or his dealer just didn't like him). He started younger than this kid huffing gas, smoking roaches out of the ashtray then worked his way up to snorting vicodin and OC's and shooting coke. A time release on a pill is a mechanism in which there are all sorts of sketchy fillers so that the chemical is distributed consistently in your body over time. In Concerta, there is wax, some expanding foam like stuff, and other things. There's just way too much shit in it to be safe to bang.

I still stand by my statement that I would mainline a bag of dope before I shot up a time release pill.

It is blatantly stupid to inject pills, you're filling your circulatory system with chalk, plastic, wax, time release agents and chemicals (which in some things, like some oxy, means that it can't be circumvented, you need to digest the pill, even if it's crushed and you parachute it, you will get time release oxy, and if you mainline or blow it you don't feel it, or perhaps die.

You won't live past 20. Seen this, little fuckin kids who think they're hardcore for playing with needles. Then after a while, it's like they get addicted to stupid things.... like they'd rather shoot pills than smack, even though it's not going to make them feel shit, almost just because it's so stupid... if you wanna die, get a gun and do it right, pussy.
