Myspace was bought by Rupert Murdock, aka the guy who runs Fox TV, weekly standard, and who just bought the Wall Street Journal

No need to say more about him, a dirtbag that he is.
    Boycott Myspace

He's owned them for quite some time now....This is nothing new. I prefer Myspace over facebook anyways.

Good idea, man. But how do you expect me to keep up with old friends? Not going to go search for them all on FB or whatever, which some might not even be on... It would be a hassle! Also how shall I keep up to date with band shows in the area? I've no other way to.
If not for those reasons, I would leave Myspace asap because I hate it.

So, boycott a website because of who bought it up?
In my eyes, that's like saying "I hate that dog because its owner is an ass".

I'm sort of boycotting MySpace simply because I'm finding it increasingly difficult to get anything done on there...my anti-virus and other protective software does not like MySpace at all, keeps blocking page after page.

Dont have this problem elsewhere, so I assume its MySpace... maybe someone with a bit more technical knowledge could tell us exactly what nasties its carrying ?

I stopped using Myspace a long while ago... I thought everyone did as well... Most of my friends haven't logged in over a year anyway.

I use myspace for some music. So I'll keep doing that. Cancelled my Facebook account again last week.
