I was looking on Bouncingbear to compare salvia prices and I saw they had mushrooms. Are these legit mushrooms or is it too good to be true?

too good to be true for mushrooms.
The spores are legal in many, but not all states, thats why there are spores and kits available online. But actual magic mushrooms are illegal in all states and most of the world.

They sell amanitas on there. THey are 'legit' mushrooms in the sense they are psychoactive but they are more of like a deliriant/sedative mushroom and not like a true Hallucinogen.

Many people find the experience a bit unpleasant

Sure, you can buy mushrooms. Not mushrooms containing psycilocibin, but aminita muscara and the like. Read up carefully, they don't have the safety factor of generic magic mushrooms.

You can get them off the interwebz.. But you have to know people. It's easier to just grow some.

I don't how well they grow or if they would 'rot' if I bought full grown ones, but I would enjoy having some amanitas for ornamental purposes. They are cool looking and Everytime I was going to play a mario game I would put them on top of the t.v. For good luck.

amanitas can't be grown, only picked in the wild.

    If you say so....

and whoever said you need connections, huh? ralphsters, gc, and i'm sure a whole host of other places. Spores are legal to own, and they can grow wildly legally, or ornamentally if you don't know what they are....

I do say so. unless you have a proper tree handy and proper microorganisms in the environment you might have a chance, but for 'ornamental purposes' it is not possible.
