I just tried Salvia for the 1st time. 20X Extract.

    This is what happened....

I took one big hit which burned up the pinch of Salvia quickly. I held it in and then all of a sudden I started to go sideways, first one way then the other way. I was sitting down the whole time. It was weird, it was like when Bruce Lee (yes the martial artist) is doing one of his moves in slow motion and you can see mutiple versions of his arms as he's moving them. It was exactly like that except I was going towards one corner of the room and then to the other. I was just leaning back and forth. I heard a throbbing kind of sound the whole time. The Salvia did a number on my perception but I didn't see anything that wasn't already in the room. What was weird is that I was still able to hold on. It was like being really drunk but you are still able to hold on. I don't know. The bottom half of my body was still normal or grounded or whatever. I actually brought my self out of it. I remember thinking something like, "wow, this is really weird, it's affecting me and I want it to stop" and it did. It's like I had control over it, once the Salvia "blast" was over.

It didn't last long. I looked at the clock before and after I took the hit and it was a matter of minutes. About 5 minutes or so.

I did get warm like people say after it was over. I was sweating. I don't know if I didn't want to let go or whatever.

Anyone have any clues or tips what to do next? Again, I took a pinch of 20X Extract and took it all in one big hit. I definitely tripped but it wasn't long.

The stuff I have definitely works, maybe I didn't take enough. I don't know.

    I need ASSISTANCE!!!!!

I've done salvia dozens of times...

Most people don't find it enjoyable. Understandable. It's hard to grasp what's going on, especially without any spiritual "training". My guides that I contacted via the Salvia experience made it very clear to me... in order to "leave my body" awareness I had to stop breathing. Much like death.

So before I smoke salvia now, I hyperventilate for 3-4 minutes, really saturating my body with oxygen. I take a rip, and hold it for 30 seconds. Let it out... and just let go. It's the last breath I take for 2-3 minutes, and my mind can totally escape from body awareness until the urge to breath becomes too strong...

This is my advice on getting the most out of the experience. Or else it's just an uncomfortable feeling

I guess I'm trying to understand Salvia. I was hoping for some enlightenment and my experience was more like a short, strong LSD trip at most. I'm sincerely trying to understand what Salvia can do and not trying to offend anyone who uses Salvia. I just didn't see the "point" after my 1st experience.

be patient, you had a nice first trip, it affected you. let salvia's reverse tolerance play its role and you will be absolutely overwhelmed when a strong trip happens.

my advice for now is close your eyes. once i had a trip where i could see my room and the people in them with eyes opened, despite everything looking very weird. but when i closed my eyes, i was seeing and making part of a completely new reality. it was like i could switch dimensions opening/closing my eyes.

salvia is a closed eye drug. hallucinations are too much powerful this way, you can be completely immersed in them, to the point of believing during these 5 minutes that they are reality and everything else is an illusion. it's a very strong experience, undescribable by words. you'll have it.

So I should close my eyes. My eyes were definitely open cause I remember the visuals more than everything. I definitely was affected and I definitely tripped. Should I take more next time or about the same?

I remember thinking after the experience that "I'll never do it again". The loss of control was probably the issue, like Cunninglinquist said it wasn't comfortable. I seriously had one foot in reality and one foot in the experience.

I'm looking for something spiritual and not looking to abuse it.

What did you use to smoke it?

If you didn't use a bong, try to find one and use that... and add a big pinch of extract and take the biggest, deepest hit you can manage and hold it in for ~25 seconds.

yeah, definitely use a bong and try to smoke it in one big hit. but, from what you're saying, it seems you did it right. i'd smoke the same amount and try to do it in a nice setting. salvia is different than other drugs, the more you get used, the deeper you're able to go with the same dose.

if you close your eyes, you'll be way less grounded, the sensations shall translate in unexpected and spectacular visuals.

when i started to use salvia, i found it enjoyable. the body feeling was strange, but didn't bother me. after i broke through, i have this "i'll never do this again" feeling in the end every single time, because when the effects come down, i feel like i had just escaped a living nightmare, but more like something real than the effect of a drug. the body feeling sometimes translates in horrible realizations for me during the trip too, like discovering i am a wall, lol.

anyway, i think it's worth a try. the experience is very profound and interesting, some people like it and it's something that will make you think about a lot of things.

I used a pipe with a torch lighter. I took a big pinch of the extract and held it in good for at least 15 seconds and then I was off!! I definitely tripped but it was short term and I seemed to stay grounded to the point where I was able to bring myself out of the trip, if that's even possible. I looked at the clock and it was 5 minutes from start to finish, but the trip was super strong.

You are seriously making me think of giving it another try next week. I'm almost positive I did it right. I felt the feeling very strong so something was going on. I definitely tripped. I guess the only part that made feel weird about my experience is that I brought myself out of it. I guess I just figured I wouldn't be able to or anybody would be able to bring themselves out of a Salvia trip. For something to be so strong, "trip wise", and then to just end within minutes. I don't know. Something about that just doesn't sit right with me. I've heard people say the trips usually last 10-20 minutes or more.

I was thinking of maybe taking a little less next time and closing my eyes. I think I took a pretty good size pinch. I saw where a pinch was and then went over. It was a super-sized pinch.

salvia trips don't last more than ten minutes when you smoke it. my trips are always between 3 to 6 minutes, even the strongest ones.

i already had this feeling of bringing myself out of the trip, even in breakthrough doses. certainly the effect was already wearing off and i would be out of it regardless of my will. the trip makes huge changes in your perception happen, in every aspect. fantasy visions, fantasy body feelings, fantasy realizations and fantasy emotions, everything is connected. it probably tricked you into thinking that you really had control, haha. get used to it.
