Effexor an opiate blocker? OC and morph? h?

2x30, 60 mg instant release OC, and I'm on Effexor 150mg and sometimes some K

Promethazine taken.

30 mg crushed and ingested



30 - 45 minutes later:

15mg snorted,
15 mg smoked

Lots of cannabis.



I barely, maybe nodded? It felt like 25 mg oxycodone form 5 (5x500 percocet) that I did over 6 months ago, that was about the last time, so that's my tolerance level...




And like a week or 2 after this a guy gives me 100mg morphine I take 60 with some beers and not much so I take the rest an hour later and barely anything.



I heard Effexor takes away the euphoria from opiates and the guy gave me morphine because he said it was natural not like OC so it would bypass it, think he was full of shit.



Anyways, another guy threw me about 200mg of that black stuff from the south in a pokey thing and I'm thinking about trying that haha, maybe that will work. Maybe I'll try it on my next migraine. IV might bypass something? Haha, if 60 mg OC some smoked didnt do it I don't think this will, I should just give up on opiates it would be for the better. Or maybe see how I do without the Effexor, it's trashy to get off of...

 

they make 60mg IR OC's? I knew about the roxi 15's and 30's but 60 is news to me... I need to get my hands on some of that.

 

Turns out it was more like 50 mg probably. Definitely was there, but not enough , I think. I'd like to nod.

So I'll see what I can work out, want to give it a shot, though I already have ;P , I'd like a nice one! I'm trying to be cleanish (medical marijuana patient here), but I'd like to have the experience, and hopefully I don't have to stop my Effexor.

 

Hey dude, I'm not sure what to think about this episode. I used to take Effexor before I switched to Cymbalta, I was taking 112.5mg of the venlafaxine at the end of my treatment. I'm a pain patient as well and have been taking hydromorphone and it seemed to work fine--I've also taken it recreationally along with: oxycodone, morphine, codeine, and fentanyl. I've never had any troubles, so maybe it's your tolerance? Everybody is different, so you never know, it could be the Effexor; however from knowledge I've retained from my studies, I don't think it should interfere with the effects other than possibly metabolism.
What does everyone else think?

 

i always heard that smokin the oxy is a waste, i mean i guess it gets u high but the buzz dont last long. Can u verify that??? I'd rather have 4 months of full blown withdrawls then ever touch H, let alone Iv-ing it.....Im a firm believer in to each his own, and that is just my opinion, it just seems so dirty to me.....And i hope that pointy thing is new and not used......saftey a tie for first, lol

 

I've given it a shot before with 40s since that's the lowest dose between 40 and 80 that's available here, and it worked great. I found if you snapped the tablet in half you could just put it at the top of the foil like a chunk of tar, #3 or what have you. I was skeptical if it would work at first, but it started to heat up and bubble and run down the foil leaving behind a gooey brown streak(which is a good sign). So, since the pills are 30.8% oxycodone by mass they actually smoke as if they were cut powder when the coating is removed. pOrkchOp, you're totally right, it brings on a light rushing sensation although not as strong as IV it's still pleasant, but not as long in duration is oral or insufflation.
I think most people would be surprised how tasteless the vapor is. It's not something I'd do every day, and in harm reductions sake, I don't recommend you do this or make it a habit. But it was interesting to try, it's an experience I probably won't repeat, but I enjoyed it. So I say it's true, for sure. Jusy my $0.02, anyway.

 

No he said "2 X 30" which is two 30ir. And yea they only come in 15 and 30. controlled release come in 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg, 80 mg, 160 mg

 

I take a high dose of Effexor every day and I can get as blissed out as I could before I started taking it.
