Blind Melon?

I wasn't sure which part of the forum they would be classified in but anyways. I am a big Blind Melon fan but I cannot find too many bands that sound similar. Now i know no one on earth can sound like Shannon Hoon but i was wondering if you guys would reccomend me some bands similar to their style. Thanks alot \\//

 

I love Blind Melon too, but I don't think Ive heard any music that really sounds similar.

 

If you get the Guns n' Roses "Use Your Illusion" albums you'll at least get some more of Shannon's singing. He did background vocals on a couple of songs.

 

im a huge GnR fan and im pretty sure hoon just sang on the backround vocals to Don't Cry which is an amazing song
but i am pretty sure blind melon is coming back but with i new lead singer. i personally havent heard any of the new stuff but i know a few friends that have that said he sounds alot like hoon

3 the magic number. Blind melon is one of my favorites. The woodstock performances were great. Sublime is about as close as I see to similair music. Kinda.....

 

try the band Unified Theory...2 of the same members as blind melon..RIP shannon hoon....and one member from pearl jam.

No Rain allways reminded me of The Dead. I was the first in my highschool to have the first disk. I read a funny interview with of their guitarists and they talked about the Little Bee Girl getting more attention than the band.

I love this band with all my heart. I have every album they've ever made, and all the dvds

I used to only know the song "No rain", but i found all the other songs and they've literally become my favorite band.


I really wish I could show you how many more wonderful wonderful songs they have out there than just that one.
