Could anybody tell me if there is any drug out there that would increase the effects of methadone? I've read a lot about tagament but i can't seem to figure out when to take it before i dose or after? any feedback would be great
Take the tagamet (or generic) an hour before you dose. Check out this article from the July 2000 issue of Antihistamine Aficionado Magazine: http://www.opioids.com/opiates/index.html go about 1/3 down the page to section C and it discusses Tagamet, why it potentiates narcotics, and other meds and herbs that do the same.
take the tagamet 45 mins prior to ingesting the opiates. But in my experience, the effects of the potentiators were not very noticable, if any. one that does seem to work for me though is benadryl. Take 1 or 2 25mg benadryls 20-30 mins before taking the opiates.
