So I am parinoid my landlord is going to catch me smoking weed and I don't want to talk to him while I'm high or have him come knocking on my door. He already complained once when my mom had a smoke in the bathroom with the window open. Getting kicked out is NOT an option. It's a basement apartment with just him living upstairs, I feel like I live with my parents all over again :S Anyway, my bathroom has one of those fans installed in the roof that is supposed to suck up all the steam and junk from the shower, although i'm not sure it works that great. I have a toilet paper roll with some paper towels and dryer sheets in it that i blow the smoke into because i heard that helps and i have a few sented candles i light along with spray, i turn the fan on in the bathroom along with the shower and shut the door. I'm afraid to blow the smoke out the window in fear that they will be outside or it will seep up into their window. I have a few questions, Is there a way they could smell it through the fan vent thing in the roof? Do you think they would smell it through the vents or pipes and also, how can I help lessin my chances of getting caught while smoking INSIDE? Thanks :)

By the way, smoking outside....not an option.

If being kicked out is really not an option, you should really just not smoke. Weed smells quite a bit.

when i lived with my ex, we were NOT allowed to smoke inside. We used to just drive around the block , blaze real quick and come back home. In the summer, we'd take a nice warm summer night walk and bake. With that said, we used to (when it snowed a lot) smoke in the bathroom with the fan on and blow out an open window. This was a first floor apt, however.

i dont know, whenever im in apartments i do the same shit, just step into the bathroom and toke let the fan suck it up maybe spray some febreeze or some shit, that way if your landlord comes over for some reason, its not smellin like bud all in your livin room for them to whiff at the door incase they would have a prob with you smokin. or you could just ask him if he wants to hit one lol.

Buy a vaporizer. Mine usually only smells a little and it smells more like burnt popcorn than bud.

also with the whole steam/shower trick. make sure your steaming it AFTER you smoke not while. If you fill the room with steam then smoke the smell is going to get trapped in with all the damp material. Either way it's a little risky.

damn that sucks. my landlord never comes around here and i dont think he cares. one time one of my neighbors (i also get weed from him :) had roaches (roaches that crawl) and he was smoking roaches (the ones with weed in them) while he called the maintenance guy over to yell at him to get rid of the bugs. it was pretty funny. reeked of weed and no one cared. i smoke in my house (except cigs, those are for outside, since my mother doesn't like those but doesn't mind weed...weirdo) all the time and no one notices after some lysol or febreeze or whatever. but vaporizers work pretty well to minimize the smell.

This means you have the temp set too high on your vape.

Yeah my landlords chill as fuck, he says I can smoke in the house as long as I blow it out the window. Yesterday he was trying to fix our phone, and he walked in my room and my friends 2 ft bong was chilling, and he didn't say anything haha I'm so stoked I got a chill roommate! I told him to let me know if he want's to smoke with me he hasn't asked yet.

JWH 018 or JWH 073. Do some reading about them, their synthetic cannabanoids available online from vendors and they don't smell at all.

Burn a lot of incense. Spray a lot of fabreeze, burn candles, turn on fans, open windows, and chill.

Two things that haven't been said: Hold in each hit a really long time, so you exhale less smoke, and get one of those door snake things that blocks air currents. Do that, burn an incense stick while you toke. Also, don't do joints or blunts.

Smoke in the bathroom and turn the shower on w/ warm to hot water. The steam catches the smoke and you won't be able to smell it at all. I didn't believe it until my buddy proved it to me by toking up in my bathroom with the shower on. I went in to smell for pot, and there was nothing at all but ashes in the bowl =)

Wow. I'm surprised this is even a problem. As far as I've always known, landlords don't really have a say about whatever illegal activities you do in your own house, as long as you're not disturbing anybody else. And smelling marijuana smoke is far from disturbing. I guess if you have to go through all that drama to get high, and then you're still worried about having to converse with him while you're high, and your living situation is going to be compromised, just don't smoke until you figure out a safe way to do it.

why is outside not an option? cuz I'd say take up rolling joints, and start walking around the block or just to the nearest chill spot away from your apartment place.

IMHO, incense/burning smelly candles/febreeze just makes you look suspicious.

The fart fan works unless its linked to their fan, in which case it might sneak into their house.

If getting booted is truly NOT an option, I'd say don't risk it and smoke somewhere else. Also, I bet the landlord was pissed about the cigs because they stink and stick so much more than bud.
