i think im the only one that can't stand thanksgiving, its just a horrible holiday where my family that completly doesn't get along is forced to sit with eachother it wouldn't even matter, my moms always working now so she wouldnt be home, my brother and me both hate eachother but we agree on one thing, hating our dad even more, my sister pretends to like my dad, and my mom is still only with my dad because its unheard of for her to divorce her husband...after all it is "all about the kids" meh...does anyone else dislike this holiday?
I don't like it... I spend enough time with my family, I don't see why they have to make a holiday of it (on top of that this holiday was originally started because the Colonists had beaten the Natives into submission).... I don't really consider Thanksgiving a holiday and I'll be damned if I ever celebrate it after I move away. But I do get to make 3 pies and cookies tonite, woooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
haha yea seriously, and whats with fucking colombus day? celebrating forcing of native americans into finding gold for him and if they don't he'll cut their hands off??? wtf is wrong with us?!
dunno to me it meant a free wicked meal of delcious ham at my uncles and i don't get to eat full meals that often.
aww...well then for you i am happy, but im stillll screwed my friend told me to come to his house and hang out with all his "ghetto mexican cousins" heh...id rather go there but my parents barely let me out of the house as it is, and for some reason we need to sit together on thanksgiving
I like Thanksgiving, but only because my brother comes home from college. And considering he used to be a skeleton and now he's fat from beer drinking, it's pretty awesome. Without him, though, Thanksgiving dinner would be awkward and silent. I would probably end up laughing incessantly.
I bought some mushrooms and a spirograph today. By this time tomorrow, I won't even know what the hell thanksgiving is.
