I get Lucy today! I'm a tad excited.
I've taken two hits before and it didn't really do much (pretty sure I have a way high drug tolerance,) but today I get 4 so I'm lookin' forward to a mind opening kinda night.

Unless you were taking SSRI's or have done other psychedelic drugs, you should have 0 tolerance to the effects of LSD. But yeah good luck, hopefully it works this time.

 

yeah if those two hits you took were real lsd, you should have tripped. if this is only the second time, i would take 2 and wait an hour or so, then if u still dnt feel it take the other two. have fun

 

the first 2 you ate could have been bunk or just really weak. i'd start with one or two, as they could be much stronger than the other ones.

A big part of it is how much you trust those around you while tripping. Certain people in your presence you wish to 'impress' or people who intimidate you should not be in your presence or mind.

 

They most definitely weren't bunk. Everyone else in the house hold had 6-10 hits and were fryin, and I live with people who I completely trust and are my best friends so it wasn't anything like that. I really think I have a high tolerance because I ate almost 2 eights of mushrooms and didn't feel anything, and did 3 lines of molly the first time and also felt very little. It's the same with everything. Anyway. Last night I went ahead and took the 4 and had a great time. haha.

 

anything else to say about your acid trip? was it only the 2nd time you've ever done it?

 

yeah it was only the second time and it was amazing!
I just felt like I was wrapped up in this warm, colorful, distorted world.
I remember thinking that I had only dropped the hits about an hour before (we took them at 10 pm,) but when I walked outside it was light out...THAT was crazy because I have no idea where I was for those 8 hours. haha. just that I was delightfully floating in another world.

 

I love the effect on time. When I did shrooms I was listening to one of the Beatles songs "Here Comes the Sun" and I swear the song just hit me and I felt it, and saw it, and if I had to bet how long I was listening to it, I'd say an hour, and I remember looking down at the cd player to see it was at 00:21. I was in amazement lol.

 

6-10 hits is alot of LSD, i've never even taken that amount before. That's pretty weak acid if you need that much to fry. Talk to the vets almost all of them will tell you 1 hit was completely satisfactory back in the day. Granted it's dosed smaller today but $100 to trip is ridiculous.

 

No I didn't need that much. That's just what my friends took and they freaked out for a good 12 hours. haha. Sorry if that was misleading. They can usually fry off of 2-4, but they decided to go nutso....and they did.

satisfactory trip= you don't need anymore as you are immersed in it=not thinking about you consumed a drug= shulgin + 3 = 8-12 hr. Journey

Im too poor to drop money on 10 doses, although I had it once and got it for extremely cheap. Turned someone else on tho and went to a rave, 10 hits to my head just sounds greedy.

Doing the math too its possible 1 hit of highly dosed LSD in the 60's could equal 10 hits of today's low to moderately dosed hits today.

 

There are many levels of immersion, and you may think you are immersed fully from 1 hit, but you would find that more would reveal facets of reality yet unimmersed

 

I'm not doubting that in the least, that's why I used the term satisfactory though. 2-4 hits of good LSD should give you all of the reported sensations one unexperienced with the drug seeks assuming there is no immunity to the drug.

Certainly not saying its the deepest the experience can go or even that it will lead to a life changing experience. But its pretty weak acid if its not giving the vast majority radically altered sensations, and cognitive shifts. 10 hits is really just a number and says little about dosage. My strongest trip to date has been on 3 hits and I've taken 5-6 hits on numerous occasions.

You see that just boggles my mind.
I can't even begin to imagine taking ten hits of the stuff I got in the '70's.
1-2= a really good "satisfactory trip" as outlined by guerillabedlam
3-4= a full blown over the rainbow, through the looking glass, ego dissolving, rainbow cascading, "HOLY FUCK!!", talk with God type of psychedelic experience. All that for $2-3 a hit. $5 is the most I've ever paid.

If someone tried to sell me acid for more than $5 and I had to take more than 2 for a good trip, I would laugh in thier face and keep my money in my pocket.
I know some of you will say I'm too old or some shit like that, but I'm not the one buying acid for $10 a hit that isn't even worth $1.

Why in the fuck do you young people put up with being sold weak ass garbage!!???

As long as people keep shelling out big $$ for inferior weak dosages then it will keep on that way.

I do realize that there are good producers out there and good potent doses around, but that seems to be the exception rather than the norm.
That trend needs to be reversed!

I say boycot the bunk, weak doses and DEMAND quality shit that will get you there and back on only 1 hit.
