Wood shroom sculpture

What do you guys think so far, HONESTLY? Am I doing a decent job, this is my first wood sculpture project. I'm still shaping the sculpture so it's not yet finished. It would satisfy my mind to digest anyone's input on my current work, thanks.

Yeah, I actually went searching for wood to carve after I saw this
Found some basswood, I will have to make some arts in the future with it.

I'm having trouble making the body hollow any ideas guys??

 

It looks to be pretty large. For it's size, it looks fairly detailed. Keep working on it, it'll look good when it's done!

 

Yeah dude I'm trying to make the cap balanced along with stem...
