It's so weird to see old friends from school on facebook. I just found an old friend from middle school who is also a big dyke such as myself...I always knew she was gay.

People from school are always adding me but we never say anything to each other. its so funny. Facebook is good for keeping tabs on people. You can read their info, go through their pics, check out their religious and relationship status without having to talk to them.

Yep that exactly what I'm talking about. All the stuck up bitches from my high school all have like 5 kids and look so unhappy in their pics.

I have never done the facebook thing as I know there are those I would not want to talk to.

I do threaten my kids though that I am going to and then post on their pages just to embarrass them. ;)

I love nosing about on Facebook. I live vicariously through other peoples pictures, because it's nice to know that at my age all my old friends are beginning to age, and I am luckily not whatsoever :D

Everybody I knew are bold, fat, blind and working in some horrid call centre now

I used to have facebook, but recently deactivated it. People would add me from school that I barely spoke to then, and a word would never be add. I didn't really see the point.

It can be interesting to see what people are up to these days, but I realised that if I don't know what my friends are up to, then they are not my friends.

Besides, all a lot of the old people would talk about was their herd of kids, and I am not a kid person, so have no interest.

Hah, sorry, just wondered. You mentioned others having kids and age makes a difference on your perception of them I suppose.

I had no idea that we were actually the same age, always figured you were old than myself :D

Yeah, some people I knew had kids before they were 20, as some women do everywhere. One I don't like children, and two if I do have them I have to be at least 30. There are too many things that I really want to do first.

Oh thanks :D I feel old and can be rather old fashioned, but still....

I think you have an air of wisdom or something like that, something that surpasses your age

Nah, I just entirely agree with you with this kid thing, sort of struck a chord because a few friends have literally turned there back on me lately due to kids. I don't like children, other peoples anyways.

    Oh, that's ok then :D

I am not very maternal at all and do easily become irritated by children :D I'm still too young, I feel.

Also, I hate the idea of being pregnant, just really freaks me out. Always thought if I will, then I'll adopt.

I like facebook because it's good for networking. I've run into so many old friends, it's really awesome to see what they're up to. Through a lot of my travels, I've lost contact with a lot of people, so it's nice to be able to catch up.

there are people out there that I DON'T want to find me, so I don't use my last name on there...makes things a lot nicer that way.

Am I the only one that finds that fucked up? Facebrick is fucking horrible as far as Im concerned. In fairness I cant say much because Im on it to get in touch with friends who dont have phones, so that means I go on once or twice every few months. Otherwise I dont want anything to do with it.

There's definitely something off about it. Its promoting being nosy as opposed to actual communication. I don't claim to be any different than anyone else on there, though.

Yeah, I'm one of those people without a phone. That's another reason I'm on it so much. Its easier for me to keep in touch with my best friends since I don't have a phone and they are ALWAYS online.

I like it for the simple fact that I can chat and share pics with friends that live in other states. I think it's great! Now I can't stand myspace.
