Like the title states, what are the odds? I love to cum inside her, but damn it makes me nervous until she gets on her period
I cant remember the statistics but its meant to be effective. Ive been with my girlfriend for seven months, never used a condom and I havent impregnated her yet
Yet is the part that I am concerned about, as I am in the same boat as you... YET! Ive been with mine for a long time, and still pull out although shes on the pill. were both in college and it just freaks me out haha. Anyone have a girl get pregnant while on the pill using it correctly and regularly???(this is what I should've originally asked)
Well if she stops taking the pill her chances of getting pregnant are pretty good, the pill is only effective while she's taking them ya know.. Love sidney
The failure rate is 1% per year, if the pill is taken properly, every day. That means if 100 girls take the pill for a year and they all have sex (without condoms) regularly, one of them will get pregnant.
My husband and I have been together since 2007, using the Pill for most of it. We used condoms for about a month or two at the beginning (until I could get to a doctor), and when I miss a dose he pulls out. Since this time, I have been pregnant once that I know of, but it didn't take. If I hadn't been monitoring myself heavily, I wouldn't have known. It only lasted a couple of days. The Pill has a back-up: if the woman ovulates and fertilizes, the Pill makes implantation difficult. There's a trick, and this is that the man should be as aware of the woman's body as she is. My husband knows when my "recharging" is coming up, and if I miss a pill by accident I let him know. It settles both of our nerves. Also, if the woman is at all late (and if you are concerned about such things: I don't need to be preggers yet, but if I conceive I want to keep it as personal preference) she needs to take a test asap. Even a day late, if only to calm everyone involved.
If she gets clucky and wants you for a lifetime mate, there is a 100% chance she will get pregnant on the pill.
There is that risk. I've heard of many women who "accidentally" forget to take their pills for a couple of months, or simply lie about whether they're on them. Usually, though, they're scamming for child support. If you're with a woman who already has three kids by different fathers, and often complains that all of them are deadbeats who won't pay for their spawn, do NOT fuck her. Not even with a condom. You will be known as Deadbeat #4. If you're nervous, use a backup measure: spermicide, or a diaphragm. It can't hurt.
It is sad that many women will do that. I think it has more to do with them feeling insecure than necessary wanting you as a life mate, which makes it arguably worse.
It depends on how old she is. My doctor is a feminist and she's very anti-pill or any hormonal birth control. She gave me actual stats and it depends on how old she is; From what I'm told, a 12-20 year old, the pill is about 92% effective. 21 and older are 99%. Us teenagers are purdy fertile.
