can i find shrooms in the early winter?

    i know of some pastures close by and was wondering if it's too late to try finding my little friends. i'm in south eastern MA. you think it's too cold? oh, and there's a horse where i live. coud HE help me find my friends?

    i have done some research on erowid.com but, i'm affraid it's not specific enough. i'm still not sure about a couple things.

    I'm trying to think, might be that there are some Psilocybe cyanescens up that way, I'll do some research when I'm at my books tomorrow. But no cubies up there, not this late at least.

    Down in Texas there's still Cubensis, Cyanescens (sp?) and one helluva lot of destroying angel(BAD). . .they generally stay pretty thick down here until the first couple of freezes

    They like mild damp weather.

    I'd say Fall or Spring, whenever it's been wet the last week, but haven't had rain for about 2-5 days. . .temp between 45-80 degrees.
