Hey, just thought I'd post the basics in an intro. From Scotland. Lurked here for a while. I love weed, MDMA and shrooms. Have done plenty of other substances but weed is my first love =P. Study journalism and have studied politics, history, sociology and psychology. Love films, massive movie buff also love reading, specially Hemingway. That's me in a nutshell. =]
Hi and welcome. I visited your awesome country two years ago by train. We started out in northern England and rode diagonally across the Highlands, when the rails ended in Inverness. From there we took a coach to Ullapool, then the ferry to Stornoway in the Hebrides. I could not believe the ancient standing stones and black houses out there - the place totally tripped me out. We stayed in small guest houses (basically, peoples' homes), which were not even advertised on the Internet. I found the Scottish people to be so welcoming and helpful - I'll always remember the Highlands and Islands.
Yeah it's a beautiful country. Unfortunately I stay in a very urban area of the west coast. Not many visitors here =[. But up north is a trip. Nothing better than going out into the countryside, doing some fishing and enjoying some mind altering substancs. Only thing is the fucking midges. they'll eat you alive.
you sound awesome, cynical! i'm from scotland too, studying Psychology at Aberdeen Uni, with Sociology and English courses as well... love movies as well, gotta say fightclub, taxi driver, pulp fiction and girl interrupted hold a special place in my heart...lol. was watching Meet the Fockers the other night which was hiliarious De Niro is truly magnificent and so diverse in his roles...doesn't hurt that he looks nice either unsure about posting about illegal activities but can i just say: HIGH FIVE! hope to hear from ya!
