Bad immune system.

    So I've been Vegetarian on off for about 5 years.
    I only go off because I get so sick!

    Are there any specific supplements I can take in order to stay healthy?

    id just make shure u eat really well, and cook "proper" food, rather than falling into the "quick fix" traps. make shure you get lots of fruit and vege, and just a balanced diet really.
    your dairy if you still have that, and your meat substitutes. plus its allways good to have vitamin c, iron and maybe some calcium. good luck! :)

    Yeah, I suppose that's the best I can do.

    Just be pretty adamant on my vita's.

    Drink kombucha! Everyone needs probiotics in their life. I grow my own, so I drink it daily. It boosts your immunity and helps maintain your allergies (if you have any). Also, eat colorful veggies. I always say, the brighter the colors, the better! Yellow/red/orange bell peppers are filled with vitamin c. Know your herbs! Some herbs can boost your immunity or fight off any free radicals. Also, know your body. Once you know how YOUR body, then you can prevent or take care of any issues.

    likely you are getting a good amount of vitamins and minerals from just eating your veggies and fruits...

    but you absolutely want to make sure you are getting iron(dark green veggies like kale) and vitamin c(strawberries)...

    complete proteins are very important for the body to heal... this is where you might benefit from an amino acid supplement. that is especially if you are on a raw food diet.

    Jesus man, you said it yourself, Vegetarian makes you sick.... why would you acknowledge that its not working for you, yet stick to your guns and keep on doing it?

    In my opinion, if you need suppliments, its because your diet sucks.

    Sometimes I don't get enough vitamins, so have a major overload of fruit and vegetables and soon feel much better. Really you should be able to get all the nutrients and vitamins you need from a healthy vegetarian diet.
