i think any film is great when you're stoned (hehehehe). i'd like to watchRun Lola Run, i've heard is pretty trippy! (i dont really know this though)

 

run lola run is trippy, its kinda like "the wall"'s animation

 

Detroit Rock City is a great movie to watch stoned.

True Stories is also great. It's a trippy movie to begin with, but when you're stoned, it's just nuts. If you like the Talking Heads, then go see True Stories.

 

i almost puked in "trainspotting" when the baby crawls on ceiling,the guy on t.v. keeps talking, and that musis. its all just a sensory over load

im not sure but house of 1000 corpses really sucked...but im thinking it might just be a bit interesting if i was stoned

 

Dazed and Confused is the best stoner movie

Heavy Metal, on the big screen, is/was the best movie to see stoned ... this from experience. ;-)

 

I reccomend this British film "Saving Grace". Its about very proper upperclass English lady named Grace that has a degree in horticulture and has one hell of a green thumb. Her hubby dies and leaves her with a mountain of debt. She and her gardener conspire to grow a huge harvest to pay off her debts. The movie is a riot even if you not stoned!!! Theres some extremely funny parts as well a some more serious and touching parts. One of the best is when her gardener get her stoned for the first time. They go down to the beach near her house and he rolls a HUGE spliff. I love the part when her friends come over for tea and use her "new tea plants" to make tea. They end up eating cornflakes straight outta the box and roll on the floor behind their shop counter in laughter.

 

fear and loathing without a doubt is the best drug movie dazed and confused and blow are pretty good too.

O yes, watch Bridget Jones when you're stoned, you can't get enough!

 

Hell yeah, Blow is great. Though I usually just watch it until he goes to jail for the first time. It gets so depressing after that.

Homegrown is a pretty good movie. It's about a few guys who grow pot who try to take over the business when their boss gets killed. Has quite a few well known actors in it too.

 

fear and loathing NO QUESTIONS! if you watch it like thirty times, you get so much out of it. and when you watch it straight, ur like: "why the fuck are they doing that?" then u watch it stoned: "Oh of course, obviously they'd do that, it just makes sense." But if u watch it a lot, u catch SOOOOO many little things. Id suggest watchin it and focusing only on the lawyer (benico del toro). SOOO gOOD

 

Up in Smoke, Planet of the Apes, The Dark Crystal, The Wall, Quest for Fire, and Yellow Submarine....to name a few. Of course it depends on your mood with that particular moment as well.

 

OH MY GOD I STILL HAVENT SEEN FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS! All i know is that im reading the book and it looks really trippy.
A good movie while stoned is "the big labowski."
