Hey people, I got my first San pedro cacti just over two weeks ago. I ordered them though the post and at this stage they were in small plastic pots.
Last weekend I repotted them into unglazed clay pots using designated cactus soil.
Looking at one of my cacti, I have either buried it too shallow, and the root is just out of the earth, OR it is somehow sick. Could someone take a look and see what's up and how I can correct it?

    Here are pics:

Too shallow. It should be a little deeper. (thats what she said:p)

And those don't look like San Pedro to me. Spines are too big.
    Anyone else have an opinion?

I have a San Pedro cacti and it looks WAY different from this one... Unfortunately I got no pic yet. Spines look too big to be San Pedro but we never know, how tall is your cacti? Mine is like 11" tall and spines are only 2-3 mm long, spaced about 1/2" from each other.

I have a question about my cacti too, I worry a bit about it. I got it for like a month and since I repotted it (using cactus soil), white spots keep growing all over it. Is my cacti going to die or something?

Ouch I'd probably ask someone about that.
I've repotted it now, that was just the root :p
And also the reason the spines look big is because it's actually a close up of a very little cactus, only 6cm
