no christian I know acctually HATES gays, they may not understand, and want the to try and change or w/e, but im sure lots dont' HATE them...Most of the people i know are pretty liberal/sane minded guys...

Come to a small white town in Wisconsin, or pretty much just about anywhere in America, and this is how just about every single one is: They are "Christian", they love Nascar and bass fishing, they wear orange or camouflage hats, they listen to country, they think homosexuality should be illegal because "it says its wrong in the bible", oh and they also don't follow Jesus's teachings of love and helping. Along with many other hypocriticalities.

 

Yeah... it only gets worse the further southeast you go, except for Southern Florida... well, I wouldn't even say southern Florida, but maybe Collier and Miami-Dade counties... but around VA (especially rural areas), everybody not only is obsessed with Dale Earnhardt or Dale Earnhardt Jr., but they also tend to think they are Dale Earnhardt because most of them drive that way. It's usually the same people who go to Toby Keith and Ted Nugent concerts.

 

It's no peice of cake here in good ol' Tejas either, but fortunately, there are some open mined Christians down here, which is why I choose not to show disrespect towards anyone of the belief.
