Can anyone give me the names of some books on the effects LSD has on the brain?

Not the big brother "bad" effects, but the effects of LSD's "expansion" on the mind. concerning both physical and mental aspects while both on and off the drug. maybe something that gives insights into the meaning of certain trips or help explained what is going on while you are under LSD's influence. Any good books are appreciated. Thanks.

i think it's called Psychedelics Drugs Reconsidered, and then also The Beyond Within: The L.S.D. Story are both good ones

Acid Dreams by Martin E Lee

Very informative, although it deals more with the social aspects surrounding LSD. Like use by the CIA and then obviously the counterculture movement but it may have some effects stuff as well it's been a long while since I read it.

Acid dreams is a fantastic books, it does a tremendous job of describing society's reaction to acid, and it quotes people's views of acid, which are quite interesting and some are accurate, but there is very little discussion about what it can do for a person like the OP described.

Before I started doing acid I read My Problem Child by Albert Hofmann, going into the experience it helped me respect and mentally prepare for the trip.
