Thats what I mean! This clone has been under 24 hr light it`s whole life and it looks like most plants would after 2 or 3 weeks of 12/12! I took a few clones from it! Seems like the young clone stage is the only time it veg`s. I`m thinking about just moving it to the flowering room since it wants to flower so bad. It`s mother and clone sisters all grew hairs before being introduced to 12/12 and they started flowering like crazy from day one of 12/12! As soon as I figure how to post my pics from my phone I will do so!

How long does your take to ripen? I have two very different pheno types from my first order (Ontario`s best`s white widow from ontario seed bank) One is very tall and is flowering much slower than the other which tries to flower under 24 hr light and starts very fast bud growth from day one under 12/12! So its lookin like I`ll have an early finisher and a late finisher! I got another pack of ww sent to me because those 2 were the only seeds out of a 12 pack that grew so I called and complained! I`m not sure who`s ww it is though OSB carries a few different breeder`s ww seeds. The three females from that pack look pretty identical but nothing like the other 2. They look more like the original greenhouse ww so far and are only 1-2 wks into flowering!

Is anyone growing white widow outdoors? Any suggestions for the best possible yield? Thanks!:smoking:

Not this time of year of course(winter) lol, but I know what you mean, I think White Widow would yield more weight outside ,but be less potent , but I'm not sure. I think I am going to try to grow a couple outdoors this spring, but outdoor growing always seems to take a lot longer, plus you cannot control the light cycle outside of course so it will take a lot longer IMO to grow and then flower and all that..Outdoor plants tend to yield more weight wise most of the time, but often are not as potent, exceptions to this rule are everywhere though, all the high grade weed in Hawaii is outdoor grown and is some of the best weed there is,indoor or outdoor depending on the strain..

Hi Rock! I never used a calendar to judge their readiness for the next stage. I had a line drawn on the wall around the room @ 2.5', when they reached this point I knew they had enough head room for flowering, but I guess the average was 4 weeks. Conditions and equiptment differ from room to room, and season to season, winter/summer grows took 13-14 weeks, if the crop occured mostly in spring or fall 12-13 weeks as spring and fall were the warmest where I lived at the time. I'd usually get 3 harvests one year and 4 the next.

That sounds right on the money natural. I used to go by time but got fed up with them growing into the lights in late bloom or worse still not filling every bit of space. The only thing is it takes a few grows to get it sussed.
Must admit i'm warming to lst and screens very good way of cutting down the number yet still getting a pull thats worth the extra time involved.

    Ooo ya so masterful natural.
Knew about clipping or top from other plants but first time I brought cuttings paid for 4 ended up with 5 as the guy snapped one lol did that plant grow into a monster we got about 40 cuttings off that in the end.

...and if ya let it flower ya get 4-8 colas nearly as big as the one might have been!>)

That was a weird plant grew it on a top shelve meant for cutting but cos of size we put the light at one end so it grew sideways towards the light.

Yep if ya pinch the top they do seem to put more effort into buds and less into height:>)

There are other advantages to pinching and sounds very much win win but be warned pinch too soon and you will end up with a tiny bush that could take ages to grow out.
Seedlings 4-6 weeks or 18 inches high is fine. Cuttings can be done soon as they take if your running decent amount of lighting.
