Who are your favorite Primary and Secondary Charachters on The Family Guy?

Primary Charachters Would be the family (ie Peter, Lois, Meg, Chris, Stewie, or Brian).

Secondary Charachters would be the others (Mort Goldman, Joe, The Evil Monkey etc.)

My favorite Primary Charachter is Brian.

My Favorite secondary Charachter is Quagmire, with James Woods coming in close second.

Mayor West is great. Props to Adam West for doing it. Seth Macfarlane has said that Adam West is a master improvisor.

I don't really have a favorite primary character. I like the interactions between all of the characters, not any specific one.
My favorite secondary character would have to be Brian's ex Jillian I guess lol.

 

My favorite primary character is the original version of Stewie before the show came back.

Mayor West is my favorite secondary character.

However, I absolutely hate this show. I still like the old episodes or the rare good one that I catch at a friend's, but even those episodes have so many stupid jokes, missed opportunities for better jokes, etc.

So much of the show (version 2) relies on potty humor, or "it's funny cause it's crude!" that I often think it's quite pathetic for an adult to like it.
But I wonder if part of that is because I've grown up around crude humor, where for many older than me - it was taboo.

(Oh, and I know it's not really pathetic to like anything)

 

I'm sorry but Peter is my fav handsdown, I pissed on myself once I laughed so hard. And my other fav is Herbert the old perv that lives down the street, lol OMG!

I haven't even watched it in probably a year though.

It's funny the responces for Herbert. Only Seth Macfarlane can come up with a funny pedophile. The viseral response when he comes on is simultaneous grimace and laughter. It reminds me of an old Carlin routine: "Rape can be funny. I see you looking at me saying rape is never funny. Fuck you rape can be funny. Imagine Porky Pig raping Elmer Fudd. Come on they don't call him Porky for nothing. Buh-bee-buh-bee-buh-bee bend over."

The movie fails to translate most of the humor (and darkness). Great movie, but the book is a lot better overall (even though it gets challenging to read at parts because of it's extreme amount of detail).
