is it possible to collect spores and grow mushrooms from other shrooms that have already been dried out?

 

not likely youll find spores

you need fresh caps for spore printing

Yes, you can extract spores from dried caps. You will need to put it on agar and clean it up, however. For a noob, its pretty much not gonna happen.

im not sure that it was his intention to "pwn" me, so i appreciate his advice. It's obvious that i am new at this so its not too far fetched to assume i wouldn't know how to use the agar method.
