I've been bf on and off for a couple of weeks now, but after three months in shoes my feet have softened a bit, so i'm having to start gradually while they re-harden.
Let's hope next winter isn't so hard.

Kia Ora! I now have no shoes except for a pair of dress shoes! I have decided try one month barefoot and see how long I can last. I kept up with a thread last year where a member was chronicling 40+ days barefoot. Now I can finally follow in his footsteps! I'll post any interesting comments, observations, interactions with people that I think are worth sharing. Cheers!

Its been unseasonably warm here all winter, and we've had a bunch of days already that have been 60+ and sunny, so ive been able to barefoot it for a while. I also have been doing a bit of traveling to california, and i went barefoot there. so, i think i am gonna be able to toughen up by the time the real good weather is here.

Last year I got laid off and went shoeless for something like 100 plus days and it was an interesting experience. It felt weird being barefoot in some places and then I got totally used to it. Anyhow, its been 70 here for some 4 or 5 days so I think I'm on target to be shoeless (and barefoot) everywhere I have to go until maybe November....YAY.

I have to wear steel toed boots for work.

Today I finally got a little barefoot time in. Leaves are thinking about budding on the trees.

No job or barefoot-friendly job? I hope it's the latter and best of luck to you if it's the former, especially in finding a barefoot-friendly job :)

I started 4 days ago, and yesterday I went into the Kmart by my grandma's (which has a big "NO BARE FEET" sticker on the door) and a manager saw me, looked at my (bare)feet, looked back up at me, and smiled...so...

One week barefoot today! After one week I rarely find myself getting nervous about going into any place barefoot. I find it's much easier now that I have no shoes and no choice. Cheers!

Good for you! Yeh no shoes no choice does help a good bit with nervousness. it's also cooler knowing that anything you need to do totally absolutely has to be barefoot.....enjoy!

my feet are so tough right now.. outside has been much, much easier. I don't think people even notice when I don't wear shoes since my jeans are so baggy and long..
