Sass, I heard its like molly, possibly the pure form of mda, instead of mdma. Also heard its more natural, like derived from the sassafras tree. What is this stuff? Anyone know for sure?
Well MDA is pretty much just as synthesized as mdma except add and extra step or two. I've heard sass before but I don't exactly know either. I've come to the conclusion it's powder/crystal mda or just some other name for Powder/crystal mdma. Both mda and mdma are synthesized from sassafras root oil. Maybe it's even just the root oil but I can't imagine that's good for you at all.
The sass I saw looked like whiteish/yellowish crystal, the crystals were formed in big chunks, some of the smaller crystals were clear.
I just checked erowid and it says it's the nickname for mda and mdma, so it's probably either of those. If you have never done MDA you should try it. I prefer it to MDMA, but it's supposedly more neurotoxic.
I have its pretty bomb, more trippy then mdma, in fact off two double stacks of it I was almost mushroom status visuals.
Sass is my favorite form of any ecstasy related drug. Its a naturally derived form of mdxx generally mda but can be mdma. Sass usually has a bad reputation because its brown, but to me it feels more lovey and more trippy than most synthetic mdxx and has much less of a harsh comedown. People generally assume that sass is cut with heroin after trying it because of its brown color and very chill/relaxed/not speedy effects, but that is just how it feels.
smells just like black licorice too. last batch i had were solid rocks you could smell as much as a bag of headies smells from like 2 feet away. when you broke the gram sized rocks up transparent/brown crystal shards would appear.
MDA is actually easier to synth than MDMA because you don't need a certain hard-to-obtain precursor. At least this is according to what i read on the rhodium archives. It probably ends up frequently being sold as "molly" or if the person is honest, "sass" which is the term for MDA powder. Although they are both derived from saffrole, MDMA and MDA are hardly natural. they are completely synthetic molecules that do not exist in nature as far as we know. MDA is the trippier and more amphetamine-like sister of MDMA. People report less lovey euphoria and more visual activity, stimulation ect.
I agree with you omacatl, except for the fact that I think many of the precursors of mda are hard to get as well. Goofy if we are talking about mda it's quite a bit more speedy then mdma is and less lovely, although I agree it's trippier than MDMA. If you are getting chilled out mdxx compounds you might be getting MDE.
Maybe it is mde maybe something different, but this is just my experience eating sass from several different sources throughout my life. always more lovey, always trippier, and always less speedy.
