A couple minutes ago I CLEARY heard a little girl crying inside my house. I thought "Well, it's just my niece..." A couple seconds later it hit me... my niece left an hour ago! I'm scared...

Before moving into your residence, did you have a priest bless the house?

    Well,

    there ya go!

Seriously, though, there is something going on with folks having auditory hallucinations. It's strange, but not too spooky.

Do you have any cats around your house? Inside and/or outside, tame and/or feral? They can sure sound like a baby/child crying...

    Hope this helps!

  5. A friend and I once heard the laughter of children at a graveyard in the middle of the country. Just saying, it can happen.

"their comming to take you away ha ha, their comming to take you away ho, ho... heh, heh, ha, ha, to the funny farm... their comming to take you away ha, ha!"

i would not worry about this. this happens every once in a great while to everyone. a number of things could cause it to happen. in my case; one time i had very, very, very, major depression. i heard all kinds of weird shit for a couple of weeks. once the depression started to clear up, stopped hearing all that weird shit; that was almost 25 years ago and, i have never experence it again.

if you keep hearing weird shit over sometime, you then need to see your doctor and, also, get a psychological evaluation too. it might be quite serious so, please don't fuck around with it... ok?

Do you take any medications at all? A lot of over-the-counter ones have rare hallucinatory side effects. I found this one out the hard way with Benadryl: I kept seeing vanishing moths, hearing people calling my name in an empty apartment, odd music. . . Sudafed did it too, but that was much milder. Allergy/cold medications are the worst for it. I haven't had any trouble with headache meds, but those just make me giggle so much that if I did see/hear something I'd probably laugh it off.

Just relax. If it is a child spirit it won't hurt you, if it is something more malevolent trying to fool you just don't fall for it and don't be scared, if you are scared you are vulnerable and you don't think rationally.

Could have been your imagination, or echos of a kid outside, or lots of things.

Benadril makes me see shadows that aren't there, moths as you described, creepy red glowing eyes in my room, singing, it really freaked me out and as soon as I stopped taking it the hallucinations stopped.

That's so weird. Bennadryl (probably not spelled right...) always makes me freak out. It gives me panic attacks and makes my vision blurred, at normal, even low, doses. I know there's some sort of hallucinogen or dissociative in it, but it seems like it shouldn't effect people if taken at a normal dose.

Anyways, i would just ignore it for now. If it happens again, keeps happening, go to the doctor. It doesn't necessarily mean you're crazy.

But, if you're totally stable, you might have something entirely different on your hands...

Could have been a noise from the neighbors or outside that travel through the walls. If it was paranormal it was probably nothing to be afraid of. I lived in a few haunted homes and a lot of things happened to me (including both my husband and I hearing a female crying at different times) but it was never anything threatening. You can choose to figure out what it is, ignore it, or tell it to go away.
